Where can I find English folk child songs
I'm new to this community so please handle this question with grace if not
completely appropriate. :)
I have a little son and I like to sing him child songs. In my mother
language, Hungarian, we have a great variety of these that tell stories
about love, seasons, etc. If you're interested, this is a great

I've been looking for the same spectrum in English too. So far without
much success. The ones I find are counters, abc songs, repetitive chants,
like Wheels on the bus, humptiee dumpitee, bears on the wall, the animals
went in two by two... Seems like these nursery songs have an overwhelming
dominance.
I'm pretty sure that old English chants are similar to what I'm familiar
with in Hungarian but I wasn't able to find a good source for them. Where
can find these?
